It wasn’t supposed to start like this. A simple game of roughhousing quickly turned into a full blown fight, accompanied with laughs and smiles, but a fight nonetheless. Feuilly soon found herself with a cut lip. Bahorel was going to have bruises in six different places. It ended the same way every time – with a gentle nudge and an offering of cigarettes.

Somehow, someone’s hand crept their way towards the other’s thigh. Both of them deny it, of course, but then it keeps moving and it gets under a skirt and there is a tentative kiss made before Bahorel punches Feuilly with the excuse of you smudged my lipstick, fuckwit.

She doesn’t complain when Feuilly kisses all her bruises in the morning.
